My boss's boss tossed me into the deep end of the pond. Short version.... I drowndeded. Smoked a power plant. But, I had the satisfaction of calling him in the middle of the night, waking his ass up, and saying "see fucker? I told you! I fucking told you! "

I told his ass I was inexperienced and didn't feel comfortable wiring the damn thing. His reply? That's how you learn. Oh. I fucking learned allright. I learned I need some goddamn training!

Not my intention but somehow I managed to take down traffic to an entire city .

He shoulda been fired. People coulda died during that outage for lack of 911. Not something to fuck with. Fortunately, the DC plant went into failsafe and I didn't lose anything, besides my pride. Quite the humbling experience to tell your customer "I blew up your new DC plant."

Have you seen Tom in "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" on Netflix? Coen bothers. 6 30 minutes stories. Beautifully shot. The one with Liam Neeson is brutal.

Big Coen Brothers fan. The vignette with Tom was great. And yea, "The Meal Ticket" was QUITE brutal.

I really liked the first one (that scene with Clancy Brown was amazing!), and the one with James Franco had me cracking up.

The look on Franco's face several times had me stopping it and laughing. Very every-man how-the-hell-did-this-happen? Look.
