Johnny could own the songs he covered in a way nobody else I know could pull off.

I think that even Kris Kristofferson thinks that Johnny wrote Sunday Morning Coming Down.

He made several versions, but the one from Classic Cash, Johnny Cash '88 id my favorite. It's a bit more up-tempo and the production is crisper than the 1972 single

Also, he's a a proud alumnus of the US Air Force - SSgt John Cash
