Springsteen Live (no year)
A song Ive always felt is tinged with sadness and loss, notwithstanding the lyrics. For me its the loss simpler times.

Edited: The Springstein version is nice. But the boys stole my heart a long, long time ago.

Thats the first version I heard but I really dont like the vocals. Was it Mike dAbo?

(7,277 posts)3. I had not heard that version before
Its real good. Upbeat, and better than the original by Manfred Mann. I still prefer the melancholy of Springsteens. Funny. I deal with the sadness of these days by topping up on more sadness. Back in the day Id be going for Metal.
