1. Which was actually a single-only, first released on LP for Elton's Greatest Hits Volume 2 circa 1978

It was put on CF&BDC in a much later CD remaster version as a bonus track, along with Philadelphia Freedom and a Lennon cover. I presume cause they're recorded at the same time period but not sure.

But I distinctly remember being like 10 and my old man buying GH2 cause it had this cover (he was a Beatles and Elton fan) which he'd waited to be able to buy on an album for many years. It was definitely not on original Captain Fantastic album, cause I played his copy to death

It IS one of the greatest covers ever, and that's tough to do with the Beatles, lets face it

I also think that Elton's Pinball Wizard was much better than the Who's
