Back in the late 70s early 80s, this is the Autralian Band that I thought was gonna rule the world-

Bon Scott had died, so I figured AC/DC was toast, and the Angels were smoking hot live and wrote solid 3 chord hard rock...

Instead Bon Scott was replaced AC/DC got as big as Led Zeppelin and fucking "Men at Work" were all over the radio dial.

The take away from all this?

Never ask me for advice about coming trends, turns out I know dick about what's popular

Hell, in America their records were released as Angel City instead of their real name because there was already a band called "The Angels" and they were a lame ass Styx copycat band.

Who bewildered me by selling twice as many records as the REAL ANGELS did in America.

Anyhow, I wanted some loud head banging hard rock and I remember these guys fondly

They played at a benefit for those who lost income due to the SARS thing in Toronto.

The Stones kindly set up the concert, lots of great folks performed, only thing the Stones did and suspect will never ever do again, is close the show, following AC/DC... No one can follow AC/DC. Keef was pissed as he brought out Justin Timberlake; & again some folks in the crowd threw bottles of water at poor Justin... I think the Stones were pissed as they had come to the sudden realization that no one can follow AC/DC, ever.
