5. Public auditorium, with Mountain, Cactus, McKendry Springs. Saw a lot of good stuff at the Agora ...

Caravan was one of the best concerts I saw there.

3. Oh man, Ohio concerts of my youth. Remember the flats? Along the flaming Cuyahoga?

My band played Peabody's Down Under, opened for Wild Horses, plus a couple other clubs there.

I hear it's all gone now, redeveloped.

6. Saw Damnation of Adam Blessing at Otto's when David Allen Coe played with them ...

Saw David Allen Coe at the Avalon Coffee House in Akron after it turned Jesus Freak when Craig and Janet Yoe got married and had a bad acid trip. They passed the hat after Craig pulled the plug on Coe and we raised $.38. Coe slept in his old grey hearse that night.

8. It was great! Coe became Coe, Yoe had an amazing career from Jesus Freaking to working ...

for Jim Henson to being the conglomerate he is now.

I went to Craig and Janet's wedding in '70. Father Fred was a little lit and announced the wedding of "Jaig and Cranet".

The night I saw Coe was a surprise because J&C went to Atlantic City and came back Jesus Freaks. We were tripping on psylicibin and had a fun evening not being in on all the weirdness. Coe was doing his best to be an outlaw for the mixed crowd of 40 or so heads and serious Jesus freaks.

They shut Coe off after he sang a song about taking a ball bat to his wife. Classic Coe.
