I recall an interview saying how much they were taking before they went on stage, even though it is "morning maniac" music and quite appropriate. I miss Marty.

kids is a dead ringer for Slick. She even joined a band before becoming an artist-writer. In college I saw Richie Havens and then Joni Mitchell, other greats. Somehow I missed Carlos Santana unfortunately. The clothes back then, esp. what musicians wore were interesting costumes, fit for the times.

listening to the radio about the traffic, etc since we were vacationing near there. I obviously was influenced by what was going on since for my birthday gift I requested....a ukulele. I wanted a guitar but since I was only about 3' 8" tall and 49 pounds (very little) a ukulele was all I could manage to hold well. The year before I got a drum for Christmas (I loved the Monkees) and beat in both sides by Dec 26th and my mom was very thrilled.
