listening a LOT lately to Sly and the Family Stone, "Hey Music Lover", Woodstock; it contains one of the greatest funky jams of the '60s, says I!! --- When I did some research a couple weeks ago, I found out Mr. Graham was a top player from the git go!

If you start here at 40 seconds, you'll hear him just - grinding the shit out of his bass and this lick is stuck in my head for all time now
