LCD Soundsystem is back!

Playing at Coachella and a few other concerts this fall; and an album this year. Naturally this offends some of their fans who are upset that Shut up and Play the Hits! (movie and live concert at Madison Square Garden) won't be the final word on the band and the man. Like many electronic acts, LCD Soundsystem is largely James Murphy making music with his friends. He's caught some flack for coming back and for playing festivals; I don't really understand it. I think some of his fans would like him to be in the past catering to small groups of dedicated fans, rather than cashing in and making more music?

Anyway for those who don't know the band.

But it seems that some fans feel that being in the know is more important than other people finding and enjoying an artist.

Especially when it's an artist that they feel is worthwhile.

I don' t get it
