Love me some Kurt Weill

And I'm checking Billie these days.

By the time of this recording her voice wasn't like her decca years, yet the hardness in her voice and the timbre suits the song and her phrasing of Nash's lyrics is heartbreaking. Barney kessel is great on the guitar too.
