Remember protest music?

Red Alert (Morris Cagle): This particular tunes was the flip side of Benedict Arnold & The Traitors very first record: Kill the hostages. It was documented in my manuscript: Minster of Pogo (Never Published). The 3rd carnation of the Traitors called: 100th Monkey. We would play this song in clubs in the 80’s. This was the long version of that tune, In the middle of the song would be a feedback lace jam and I would improvise a spoken word poem while the band made noise. We attempted to record this song on an 8-track tape. We never finished it.
When we recorded the double C.D in the early 2000’s (Star, spangled, bummer) we recorded this song and renamed it as: Red, White and Blue alert. I wrote a spoken word piece about life during The Bush administration.
