Full Interview, 1 hr. Celebrating the life of Gregg Allman (Dec. 8, 1947- May 27, 2017). AXS TV has shared Gregg Allman’s intimate 2015 interview with Dan Rather in its entirety. In the interview, Allman opens up about growing up without a father, the death of his brother, addiction, and keeping the Allman Brothers Band together for 40 years. Gregg talks about his mother Patsy who raised them alone after their father was killed in 1949. Spirited Patsy lived to be 98 years old. Gregg passed away 2 years after this 2015 interview.
