I even mentioned them in a thread yesterday.

My unsupported and probably nonsensical theory is:

It's unfortunate that they came out during the Hair Metal era... A little sooner and they could've been a Pop influenced rock band like Cheap Trick a little later they could've been a pop influenced rock band like The Smithereens...
But hairspray and ridiculous clothes were the order of the day and they never really had a chance to develop as a group.

They still tour - but they never come around St Louis so I haven't seen 'em since 86-ish

You're in St. Louis? I was working there for like two years straight a year ago! I'd a boughtcha a drink!

But yeah, I've always like Enuff Z'Nuff. Really good bubble gum, catchy, pop rock.

Actually I'm fine with either one.

My favorite memory of working in your kneck o the woods: I was running a job in Olivette, the foreman for the a/c crew from local #1 took me to a biker bar for lunch. I had "The Fat Bastard". 1/2# cheeseburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches replacing the bun.....
