Saw the Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin with Big Bother and The Holding Company, Greatfuller Dead, Moby Grape, a very young Carlos Santana, and Jim Hendrix at the Film ore in San Fransisco. Heard this song preformed live with Grace Slick herself.

Such great music. Times were turbulent, chaotic, and the "generation gap" was huge. Vietnam .... drugs ..... sit ins ......

The 50th Anniversary of the Bobby Kennedy assassination is coming up too. I saw him the day before at St. James Park in San Jose give an impassioned speech about Vietnam Voting Rights, Israel.

I love this! Memories of high school. Grew up in San Francisco and sneaked out to go to the Fillmore and the Avalon many times, but never got to see these guys.
