(33,643 posts)Everyone from the aforementioned JJ to REM to Replacements to Posies (two of the Posies were in the reincarnation of Big Star that was around in the years prior to Alex Chilton's passing some 6 years ago) to Matthew Sweet to Wilco to Teenage Fanclub ... Hell, the Bangles did a cover of Big Star's 'September Gurls', and of course the theme from That 70's Show by Cheap Trick ...
