She lived in Los Angeles at the time.

Somewhat later she said it was almost worth having the heart attack because in her cardiac rehab class was (I'm sure you've guessed this already) was Ella Fitzgerald.

I find that if I tell that story to young people, they have no idea who I'm talking about. Sigh.

Alas, my sister is no longer with us. I had my own heart attack back in December and did cardiac rehab. What I would love to ask my sister is what was her cardiac rehab like? Was it like mine? Or different?
