...that Brian Wilson, the creative force of The Beach Boys, had copies of this record scattered all around his Bel Air mansion so he could listen to it obsessively no matter what room he was in. The reason behind that bit of madness was that he figured this was his only real competition, thie was what he had to try and beat.
