because I was only 12 years old. I was well aware of what was happening that weekend, though. There were reports on the radio and I remember Get Together, the Youngbloods song, being played after a Woodstock update. A friend's parents hosted a listening party when the soundtrack came out. About 20 of us sat on chairs in a circle and listened without talking while the records played. It was like a group meditation.
Do you remember the Dead's performance?
