John Waite (the Babys, Bad English) talking for 5 minutes about why he loves Golden Earring
This was for a Dutch documentary, so there are Dutch subtitles to translate what he was saying in English. I ran across this just now because I'd posted video last night from a concert John gave in the Netherlands on the 21st where Golden Earring bass player Rinus Gerritsen joined him onstage for a cover of Dylan's "Masters Of War." I was wondering this morning if there might be more video from that concert, so I did a Youtube search for both their names. The additional concert video I was looking for didn't turn up, but I did find this video posted several years ago by a John Waite fan, with him talking for 5 minutes about why he loves and admires Golden Earring. A tweet from his official account in the OP with that concert video had been about an article on this in a Dutch magazine a year snd a half ago, but the article was in Dutch and I couldn't find it online anyway. So it was nice to stumble across this video of a successful British musucian explaining how he views the most famous Dutch band.
Btw, at one point, just after 3 minutes in, the fan who put this collection of John's comments together has a repeat of one from the start of the video. Keep going, because the rest of this video has comments that aren't repeats.
