Music question...

Does anyone here remember an album that was put out by a British group (or possibly single artist, but I think group) some time between about 1968 and 1971 (at the latest) that began with a deep-voiced man asking "Are you sitting comfortably? Then we'll begin"? This memory of mine has been driving me crazy as I listen to all Moody Blues albums in that period, Chad and Jeremy, and similar groups that may have started with that (I was so sure it was going to be Cabbages and Kings, but no), hoping to find the album. IMPORTANTLY: I do not mean the Moody Blues *song* called "Are you sitting comfortably." I do not mean an old British radio program that started with that phrase. And it is that exact phrase, not one paraphrasing it, which can be found on a Humble Pie album (or was it the Faces?). If anyone knows what album it was, let me know!

4. Ogden's Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces

This was Steve Marriott's band before he left to form Humble Pie. Side 2 of this 1968 album comprises a zonked-out fairytale mini-opera set to music, narrated by a Cockney bloke named Stanley Unwin. The album was also noteworthy for its circular sleeve.

6. I had that album when it came out

And listened to it yesterday just in case it was the one, but no luck there. It's impossible to Google because it just throws back the Moody Blues song.

10. The song preceded by the brief narrative is "Happiness Stan".

The first track on side two. Unwin says something to the effect of "Are you all sitting comfortable twosquare on your body? Then we'll begin".

8. As I mentioned

It is not a song, it is a spoken quote at the beginning of a song, and I think the beginning of the entire album. Also, from what I can tell, that song you have there was released in 2004, not the late 60's or early 70's. Since they are British, I assume they added that last bit, which is the quote, but at the end, because of the old radio show that the BBC carried back in the day. Also the quote is different from the one I am looking for, it's a paraphrase of it. But thanks.

Too bad he said "Good" in it and some other not-included word. Also wrong voice, but WAY closer than anything else! It's clearly a very popular phrase over there, it pops up lots of places. My brother is in a band (now) and an audiophile, and he, I, and my to-be husband spent a lot of time at college from late '69-'71 listening to music at the apartment the two of them shared. I asked my brother about it, he vaguely remembered it and spent some time trying to find it, but so far nothing. Since all three of us remember it, it *does* exist! I don't know, maybe I should get myself hypnotized to dig it out of there.
