Champion Jack Dupree - Going Down to the Blue Horizon
I can't remember exactly how I discovered I liked Champion Jack Dupree, but I'm almost certain it was hearing his recordings for the Blue Horizon label, a British label owned by Mike Vernon that also had connections with the Peter Green Fleetwood Mac. (Green appeared on several of the label albums as guest star.) But this boogie woogie piano by Dupree caught my attention. I loved it it then in the '70s and still do.
