The Letter and Cry Like a Baby. I don't often play hit songs; they're well represented here.

After posting Zappa's Mr. Green Genes from Uncle Meat last night, I thought I'd post a nice Pop song.

that came out circa 1991. Think I've bought it 3 times as 2 times I loaned it didn't get it back.

Those two entire records are astonishing in my book.

This is only a tiny bit different than the album, but still really cool to hear, esp with the vid.

I saw Alex play at the Starry Plough in Berkeley in 1993, and I bummed a smoke from him outside during the break and hung out. It was an American Spirit.

It's a sweet song with some unexpected changes in the bridge. Usually I can predict where a song will go.

There are lots of reasons people don't return albums. I like to think that, as you've indicated, they enjoyed the music and can't part with the record once it's in their hands. I lent my LP of Black Sabbath's Master of Reality--with the original purple and black embossed calligraphy--to a friend of my brother's back in the early '70s and still want it returned. Hey, Ted, if you're out there, it's been 50 years. Give me back my album, with interest!
