Smokey Robinson, Quiet Storm. Besides the power, beauty and lusciousness

of this song, it was the introduction to I think the best radio programming of WHUR from Howard University, hosted by the sexy silken serious voice of DJ Melvin Lindsey who left us way too early. He was one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen. I ran into him one day at a Dupont Circle bookstore. I was about to open the door to leave when he reached over and opened it for me saying, "My lady," with a small bow. I just stood there with my mouth open and then we laughed. I did manage to squeak out thank you

This song is so precious to me.
