This footage is precious. Anita O Day at Newport Jazz Festival 1958

I can't choose a favorite moment. What a moment captured on film. One of her greatest performances.

So much sass and style.

A lesson in scat singing as well.

Not the easiest performer to work with. Some experience with her in the early 80s.
