Astor Piazzolla: born 100 years ago today

A melancholy day in Buenos Aires' San Telmo neighborhood - set to his 1982 composition, Oblivion. He died in 1992.

His more melancholy ones, especially.

I remember his Milonga del Ángel (Angel's dance) used to great effect in a documentary on Argentina' economic woes - or just for when you're having one of those days, you know?
