I have been out shrooming for morels and I saw so many discarded egg shells and broods waddling around, it almost felt like and invasion in some places!
They're everywhere.

I haven't seen a Canada goose since I moved down here.
When I lived in Portland the park nearby had a resident flock. During the winter, they would fly south... to a field in Milwaukie, about two miles south. Coddled creatures! They were too fat and Ill-tempered to go any further.
