Daily Distraction 28/05/2022

We went to one of the lakes south of Munich today for a brief trip.
Starnbergsee. Got off the train at Tutzing for a picnic and walk.
Here are a few from the day. This is also the lake that Mad Ludwig some how managed to disappear into.

Why is there a path?

In the next to the last photo, the flowers look very much like the oak-leaved hydrangeas that grow in my back yard.

See?



Yours is a wonderful collection, well worth seeing.

They could well be related. Hydrangeas grow around here.
My plant knowledge is limited. I classify flowers by color. These are PWF, pretty white flowers. This leads to troubles with PPF, pretty pink/purple flowers...
