It's pretty unusual for the aurora to show up this far south.

Lucky for the folks around Spokane!

There are some visual tools that show you in different ways. The one I like is a few levels down the page but it shows you where and how intense, visually, it can be seen.

It's definitely out there in my neighborhood, a big, green glow, no features. It's distant like twilight on the horizon. I spooked a deer when I was walking around looking for the best spot to see it. Not photo-worthy though.

I just went out and it's sort of visible here, a bit north of 45 degrees. Looks like twilight in the north while it's pretty dark to the west.

The stars are really bright and it's clear but windy.
