The robin perched on the snow pile is my favorite, but I enjoyed them all. Living in Ohio, I’ve seen a few “springs” like this.

There were a bunch of robins in the back yard "pecking" in the snow. I've never seen anything like it. I wanted to take a photo, but I'm sure they would have looked like a bunch of dark blobs.

The silence is a big part of it, also the feeling of being the only person there; it's like an abandoned world.
But most of all, it's the stark beauty of it all.
Magical!

from a stroll; the temperature is in the low 30s, but it is a bit uncomfortable due to wind gusts up to 20 mph. If the wind quiets down it will be lovely. Love your photos, thanks for sharing. That poor little Robin!
