were killed by rising CO2 levels and acidification of the oceans.

We haven’t even been around 0.25% as long, but we’ll at least leave some cool fossils too.

The trilobite in the photo was a gift. I have a partial and some small in situ specimens I found at fossil pits.

My largest intact fossils are chesapecten scallops I found at Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. I have a box of pelecypods, brachiopods, crinoid stems, corals and the like that I haven't looked at in years. Some might make good subjects for photos.

Thanks for responding.

For a time, Moroccans used to show up with dozens of these things found in the Atlas mountains. They used to dig them out, clean them, and bring them over here to Germany. Due to the large Moroccan community in Belgium, I have to assume there are more of them available there. I just don't have the time any more to chase after them.
