Are the ones with wings also ants? I've never seen any like those before.

and start a new colony and push out more ants for a lot of years. She'll lose her wings once she has gone to ground.

I like them all with the second one best for the arrangement of the shapes, but in the first I love the full body smaller ones and the eye! It tells the whole story.

a large unending colony of ants marching in two columns in opposite directions, maybe 300 -400 feet or more, crossing paths, through a puddle. They traveled untiringly, carrying stuff the size of which would equal me carrying a single family home, then returned in the other column without the ballast. They were taking apart a tree, and I was told within a few hours that tree would be gone. They took the parts to their underground place that swelled the area when I found it.
I was scared.
This was in Costa Rica.
