(18,624 posts)I like it a lot. Though I can't change lenses, but it has a shoe for my flash gun and adapters for macro, tele, and filters. Very portable.
My first digital was a Nikon, but I've had two Olympus since. They use the old XD memory that isn't made anymore, but I stocked up.
I've been looking at the Olympus PEN, but I don't know if I want to pay for that touch screen. I'm a viewfinder guy. I have an easier time framing the shot in the way I've been taking pix all my life.

(60,071 posts)the Pen line of cameras. I have the cheaper VF3 on my Pen. You don't need to use the touch screen, you should be able to turn it off.
Look at the EPL-5 or the EPm-2 in the Olympus line. They have the same sensor as the OMD.
I'm looking at the Fuji X100s, but with my finances, I can only look.
I will probably stay with Olympus because they are good cameras and I am used to their controls.

(18,624 posts)...but I like that old time look on that Fuji. My fav 35mm was a Fuji.

(28,462 posts)Kind of reminds me of the photo you posted waaaaaaaay back when of a moss-covered tomb. Maybe for one of the early photo contests? It also had this rich brick color (foreground bricks) contrasting with the deep greens. Sweet photo, that was. And this is.

seeing this. As strange as it sounds it reminds me of out and around the yard of my grandmother's house in Austin Texas. They had hand laid all the bricks for the sidewalks and patios. Those bricks would get mossy like that with the different colors. Lots of good memories there.
Anyway beautiful colors in your picture!!

Unless you object within a day or so, I will send this to my grandson for his library of beautiful photographs of textures/shapes/colors. He incorporates things from this library into various designs of art projects.

Maybe crop out the weeds at the bottom; maybe not.
