the Mardi Gras on Mainstreet Dog Parade in Deland Florida

Deland's Mardi Gras on Mainstreet Dog Parade was this past Saturday. About an hour of floats, bands etc all with dogs.

beads galore

a little partying (with the dogs of course) following the parade (funny to see all the dogs in the bars, restaurants, etc) - they were definitely the "stars" for the day

some were newly coiffed

others sporting appropriate dyes

some with new threads

there was no doubt they were enjoying the attention

6. the dogs were all happy - outside on a beautiful day, prancing around

with a lot of attention, with many other dogs
