Anyone heard from handmade34 in the last 24 hours?

There was a horrific accident in Damascus, VA during the Hiker's Parade at Trail Days yesterday...

I got this from a thread where she reports that her partner got sick and she stopped and went back.

and I am still trying to find out if anyone I met on the trail is involved...

unfortunately, I am off the trail but have had quite interesting experiences... my partner is in the hospital (not related to the accident... he is not a hiker... hopefully I can bring him home today)
