My bad eyes are having a hard time making out details.
Today we had several pine grosbeaks come around, the first I've seen so close. We got about eight more inches of new snow, which is probably why the dozens of birds were swarming around our feeder this afternoon. It's an easy meal. There was a whole flock of chickadees, the robin and then the several pairs of grosbeaks. I hope they show up again tomorrow and I'll try to get some pictures of them. They're absolutely beautiful birds.

I hope the grosbeaks come back. I'd love to see them!
