The OM E5 is on sale for $900 body only and the M1 is $1400 body only. Too bad I can't justify the cost of either one.

a better choice for movies.
The GX7 looks like a real winner for Panasonic.

(60,071 posts)5. If you have a Micro 4/3, you can use your lenses on the Black Magic. The Black Magic
can't be used as a still camera, but the GH3 can. The G6 is also reputed to be a good cinema camera. The G6 has focus peaking and in body stabilization.
For the budget conscious filmmaker, the Black Magic has a lot going for it.
