Opened up local paper today to find my squirrel photo published as "Your Best Shot"

No link is up yet for the on-line edition, but this is the photo I took last July of a squirrel
we encountered on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.

who were visiting. I've known them for over 50 years!

Here we are at the Old Well on the UNC campus! I'm second from the left.

One of my favorite websites....they've been featuring these photos from this guy, a hundred years ago, who was fixated on posing animals in people clothes -- the poor hapless things look miserable...!

This guy apparently took HUNDREDS of these pictures--he was obsessed with animals in clothing, posed to be cooking, cleaning, dancing, child-rearing...you name it!

He didn't do captions, though!

And he looks healthy. I've got a little family of them who enjoy apples and crackers with peanut butter. But they get thirsty, too - they get into the hummingbird feeder and on hot days, have been known to drain it.

Congratulations on a great shot.
