I never want to. That story haunted my little Kansas childhood big time! It still freaks me out. I was 5 years old when it happened. It was over 300 miles away yet.....

I know the house was up for sale, don't know if they sold it or not but would guess that if this is a recent photo that you have taken the paint should be in good shape.

some thoughts (I really don't know anything)... it appears the top white part of the house is siding and I did see that there was a substantial fire at the house 2 years ago... could it just be warped siding????
