OK, getting there.

bought the Samsung Galaxy camera today, and trying to figure out how to use it. Samsung 'teacher,' not the guy who sold it to me, nice guy wasn't a very good teacher. He did e.mail me the Samsung User Manual. I'm returning there in the morning, when a different Samsung 'teacher' will be there.

Please tell me how y'all post pics here! It seems easier to post pics to facebook, and I actually sent an e.mail pic, but DO need info on posting pics here. Going to cottage tomorrow, and want to get pics there!!!

THX!

I like it fine, but some folks don't, so maybe wait and try something else.

You don't need a photo hosting site on Facebook...it's cool!

Good luck and have fun!

AM showers Saturday, 'mostly cloudy' Sunday, so who knows! I spend much of my time trying to figure out where I'll be when, depending on weather forecasts!

If I don't want always to use FB to post at DU, you suggest???

P.S., Did look at your suggestions, like the Canon, but decided (if you can call it that!) on the Samsung. Thanks for your help!

I clicked on the image I want to share. It will open with a black background. At the bottom right you will see three white dots. Tap that and you will see a list of options. Select "view all sizes." Your image will appear. Now right click it and copy the image URL.

Go to this link and find the below image and test what I wrote above. http://www.flickr.com/photos/alfredo_tomato/

and for me that is a plus. Samsung makes a nice line of cameras. I'd love to have the Samsung NX 300. It's beautiful.

and LINK posted here, post # 16, not the pic itself, which was a 'sample' pic at the store.

That what you meant? Hoping for actual pics to show up, as when post jpeg. Do I have to do photobucket/flickr, etc for that result???

I've never used a Mac. I know how to copy and paste, but WHAT's being copied appears to affect what one gets finally.

OK, gotta get outta here to have SOME sun when I get to cottage!
