Behind the lens again (at last!)...

As some of you will know, there's a vantage point a few blocks from my house that offers a nice view of Mount Rainier almost directly to our south. When the weather conditions seem right (and/or I can't think of anything else to photograph), I tend to go down there and take a few shots at sunrise or sunset. Those who have been in this group for awhile have probably seen more shots of mine from that spot than there are Monet paintings of Rouen cathedral -- except, of course, that I'd never dream of equating my work with Monet's! In any event, the conditions looked promising late this afternoon. It has now been a little over a month since my second cataract surgery; while I have taken other photos since then, this is the first set I thought worthy of posting here.

Needless to say, it's nice finally to be back behind the camera again.
