Bird ID.

We see these guys all the time, and I have said that they can't be Bald Eagles as they have that dappled grey head.

I had never considered they might be juveniles.

Thanks for that and these are great photos as well.

mature birds that sport the white cap of feathers. I think it take at least 2 years and happens gradually.

seldom have picks of the immature. And just as a general rule, predators like raptors, sharks, bears, etc, take longer to mature as a rule.
