I deal with B&H most of the time. I have been for years and find their customer service to be outstanding.

I just missed the sale on the 50mm lens. I got mine in about 5 days ago, along with my new tripod.

There's a few things to consider with used lenses like fungus, oil on the aperture blades, grinding or gritty focus or zoom, denting of the filter ring, etc. A few small scratches on the glass is OK as are superficial scratches. I'll buy them on ebay if they have good pictures and a good description of the condition and the seller has a good record. B&H and Adorama have a good used department and rate used equipment on a defined scale as does KEH.
