Used the Tokina 28mm for all images, and the first three processed in GIMP, the last in LightZone. Shot in Raw. I'm starting to get the hang of UFRAW. It's more flexible than the raw converter in LightZone. Any editing in iPhoto, including resize, converts the image to Tif.

(26,044 posts)Does your camera offer "focus peaking?" Mine does, and it can come in incredibly handy.

(60,071 posts)works for me. With cataracts growing, focus peaking might be my only course for manual focus.

(14,040 posts)you may be able to cheat focus peaking. I can on the Olympus EM-5 by using the art filter and then assigning that to a function button.

(60,071 posts)Does the EPL5 and EPM2 have the same capability?
justiceischeap
(14,040 posts)I'm guessing you can do the same with the EPL5 (this is the video I used to set mine up on the EM-5--it works fairly well when I remember to use it)

(36,827 posts)Back in the film days, all SLRs had the split circle and I wouldn't want to do manual focus without it.
If your camera is mirrorless, you wont' be able to do this.
