Gota love that 5 axis image stabilization

EXIF data says 1 second and it was hand held! Braced against my forehead and held breath. Not a great pic, but illustrative of capabilities.

Sorry it's on its side but the photobucket rotate didn't seem to take.

for $599.99. That's already down from the $649 I paid a few months ago.

This room was almost completely dark (and I shot hand-held) with the following EXIF data:

Camera Olympus E-M5
Exposure 0.5
Aperture f/2.8
Focal Length 17 mm
ISO Speed 2500
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Auto, Did not fire

The other thing I love about this camera is the noise it creates (the "grain" you see in this image is Olympus high ISO noise). It looks a lot like grain, so you can shoot a mirrorless at ISO2500 and not have to worry.

I carry mine with the short zoom on a wrist strap. Gee whiz, weather proof, IS, image quality rivaling full frame and the size of some point n' shoots. It does eat batteries tho, so invest in a spare. I think it's the electro magnetic field that suspends the sensor in space--the Enterprise has one of those and maybe the TARDIS too . . .

Oh, and great imaging too. There's something there that touches you down deep.

but I'm thinking about a third, even though I mostly use the EVF instead of the screen on back.

I always have my iphone with me, so if I need to make an image, I have that. But I also throw the E-M5 in my messenger bag so I have that too.
