Well, I am certainly no Ansel Adams! Still, I am not too unhappy with this picture...

I'd set the camera on M and had the lens all the way out...Considering that I really don't know what I'm doing, I'm pretty happy with this effort!

I just don't have a good long zoom, or the chops for such things.

My lens isn't that long; it's a Tamron 18-250 mm.

And I had it ALL the way out. I also had the setting on M, which I believe means manual. I didn't mess with those settings; I just went with what the camera gave me.

Your work is so good........I am pleased that you like my little offering.

I've tried moon shots before, and never gotten anything nearly as good as this.

I decided to give it a try, played with the settings a bit, and I would take whatever showed up.
