Camera recommendations

I need some help. I'm going to Australia next month, and I need a new camera. We will be doing some typical tourist sightseeing. One of the most exciting parts will be snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef! So I would like to get something that is waterproof. I don't need super fancy, I'm no where close to professional or even amateur photographer.

Better than my phone's camera, something that'll shoot photos good enough to print off a few 4"x6" to frame later.

I'd probably be willing to spend up to $300, but would like $150-$200 range.

It has most of the features you're probably going to want, like video and GPS. It does have a few weak points that I think Nikon could have done better. I would have liked to seen a lens which is faster and wider angle, but overall I think it's one of the best ones of the bunch. If you want a better lens the AW120 is the one to get, but it's about twice the price. Adorama has the factory refurb for $175. I've bought a lot of Nikon factory refurbished stuff and never had a problem. I do recommend getting it ASAP before you go so you can learn how to use the features. Fiddling with a brand new camera while you are on vacation is no bueno.
