My new camera is in Hebron Ky, and should be in my town later tonight, or early tomorrow.

(60,071 posts)better AF, faster shutter speed, better low light performance, better IQ, and better dynamic range. I will pass this camera on to someone who could appreciate it.

(60,071 posts)handled on the screen not with buttons and dials (like the Sony NEX). I don't need them because I put my camera in Aperture Priority and boogie on. I changed the movie button to magnify, and enabled the supermenu. I'm ready to hit the streets.
Photography is usually more about the photographer than the equipment. Your posts certainly show you know what you are doing, basic equipment or not. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

(60,071 posts)There were specific things I was looking for: faster AF, better low light response, higher shutter speed, and better dynamic range. The EPM2 offered those desired features.
I'm from the "you take a snapshot with a camera, but you make a photograph in the darkroom" school of thought. I don't need all those bells and whistles, they won't help me select an appropriate subject, or properly compose an image. The most important tool in the "darkroom" is the trash can, and the hardest tool to learn.
