http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_the_Boulder_Valley

The Curse of Boulder Valley, also known as Niwot's Curse, is attributed to Chief Niwot, who is said to have first stated it upon meeting the first white gold seekers to visit what is now known as the Boulder valley in Boulder County, Colorado. According to the chief, the curse of the valley was its breathtaking landscape.

People seeing the beauty of this valley will want to stay, and their staying will be the undoing of the beauty.

I'm lucky to live with such a beautiful backdrop. If I take enough shots, I end up with a decent slide show.

I've spent some Peyote evenings watching the Flatirons breathe.

I was representing a British bike company. I think it was Holdsworth. They were old school British Reynolds 531 steel framed bikes.

It's so easy to take pretty pics here. I'm thinking about getting a second camera with more zoom. I snapped a couple of birds in the meadow, but they were too small to make a good pic.

Congrats on your win! I called it.

Yes, that is a beautiful area up there. We so enjoyed our visit in June. It was great to see everything so green and healthy-looking. The wildflowers were outstanding.
