Some Background:
Taken by my wife on a recent trip to Moscow. Camera: HTC 1 Phone. There would have been more photos, but my wife left the charger at home. Post-processing & HDR by me.
The original plan was that I would be part of this trip too, but Moscow gets colder a lot earlier than many places, so the trip was moved forward a couple weeks leaving me insufficient time to get a visa. Bummer!

(205,144 posts)So clear and I love the rich colors! I've been there, so I especially appreciate these. When I was there, there was a scaffold around St. Basil's, were working on it so we couldn't go inside. Looks like they did a beautiful job! Thanks so much for sharing these...

(266 posts)I was there in July of 2013, and I can't wait to visit again. My friend and his wife gave me a tour of the metro stations on my last day there that was incredible. I had really wanted to visit Christ the Redeemer Cathedral, but there was a huge celebration of the Russian Church that was going on at the time, and security was too tight for us to get in. My favorite church on Red Square is Our Lady of Kazan. It is to the right of the museum in your last photo, but obscured by the other buildings.
