Last night's sunset was absolutely magnificent. I shot this from the Campbell Creek estuary, which is one of Anchorage's newest parks. It's not too far from here, and I think may become my go-to sunset spot. There's a full 180-degree view, so it should work in both summer and winter.

(46,436 posts)There was quite a bit of wrangling between different factions of our city government over what to do with this piece of land, which, of course, developers would have loved ... but in the end, the preservationists won out. I'm really glad.
